For those who appreciate handmade, locally-sourced, yet definitively high-quality designer wares, this event is for you. Talisman will be partnering up with two of the best Denver-based apparel designers around - Mecla and Mimi Shim - to offer a 3-for-1 fall trunk show that’s not to be missed. Save the date for Saturday, October 24th at Mimi Shim’s home studio. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting, and masks and social distancing are required.
As per usual, I’ve got some surprises up my sleeve, including the unveiling of new designs just in time for the holidays, available for order. I’ll also be offering select older styles at 20% off, available to take home that day, as well as a few very special, one-of-a-kind pieces also available for immediate purchase.
A little about Mecla and Mimi Shim:
Mimi Shim Studio is a design and sewing studio creating heirloom quality, handmade goods, guided by sustainability and ethical production. Mimi will be showing luxury hibernating wares, like soft quilted jackets and french terry cardigans that cocoon. They’re pieces that elevate your stay-at-home wardrobe, and can easily be worn out and about. She’ll also be showing her quilted throws, available both as-is and by custom order.
Mimi will be opening up pre-sales for her cozy jackets and sweats at the trunk show. Pre-sales will close in-person and online at MimiShim.com/shop by that Sunday at 4pm.
