BTS Photographing The California Scenario SS26

For this season’s campaign, a jaunt to warmer climes called… After scouting a few location options in the Southern California area, my friend Tamara turned me onto a little-known installation by one of my all-time favorite sculptors, Isamu Noguchi. Tucked between high rises in a nondescript office complex in Costa Mesa, California Scenario is “at once a place, a space, a sculpture and a garden.” Paying homage to the varied landscapes and natural resources of California, each part of the installation reflects Noguchi’s signature minimal, abstract style, varying between sharply geometric monoliths to more organic surfaces. It felt like the perfect counterpoint to show off the SS26 collection. Follow along with me behind-the-scenes as we shoot with photographer Chiara Garland and model Anna Tembo…
