Sanguine Drop Earrings

• These delightfully drippy gold earrings are abstract representations of droplets. While I was initially sculpting them in a red-colored wax, the word “sanguine” popped into my head, which refers to blood, or the red color of blood. However, this beautiful word is also defined as ‘optimism and positivity in the face of adversity,’ which I find to be a wildly appropriate dual meaning for these gleaming earrings.

Solid 14k recycled gold

Talisman Fine Jewelry is made using solid 14k recycled gold. Solid gold will not tarnish or wear off with time, but can get dirty from body oil and lotions. We recommend cleaning your gold jewelry with either a Sunshine polishing cloth, or with dish soap and warm water. Please take special care with items that have leather, silk cord and semiprecious beads - these areas should not get wet.
