Sirius B Ring

• Abstract and deliciously amorphous, the Sirius B Ring is a dainty, organic-shaped band that calls to mind the shapes of solar flares and the white-hot plasma of a star.

• Cast in solid gold - the precious metal believed to contain solar energy - this piece is inspired by the brightest star in our night sky, Sirius. Also known to some as our spiritual sun, any astronomer will tell you that Sirius is actually a dual-star system. While Sirius A is the most visible, Sirius B is its fainter, yet much hotter, white dwarf sister. Some legends even maintain that there is a third star, Sirius C, invisible to our human eyes.

Talisman Fine Jewelry is made using solid 14k recycled gold. Solid gold will not tarnish or wear off with time, but can get dirty from body oil and lotions. We recommend cleaning your gold jewelry with either a Sunshine polishing cloth, or with dish soap and warm water. Please take special care with items that have leather, silk cord and semiprecious beads - these areas should not get wet. Otherwise, Talisman's solid gold and diamond jewelry can be worn anywhere, anytime.
