These sculptural, minimalist gold earrings are my abstract representations of droplets which cup the bottom of the earlobe

While I was originally sculpting them in a red-colored wax, the word “sanguine” popped into my head, which refers to blood, or the red color of blood. However, this beautiful word is also defined as ‘optimism and positivity in the face of adversity,’ which I find to be a wildly appropriate dual meaning for these gleaming earrings.
