One of the things I love most about being back in Denver is the creative community here. While it might be a small group, that group is tight-knit AF. Mutual support and collaboration is the norm, and that is a beautiful, special thing that I have a lot of gratitude for. Not every city works that way. Two of my Denver fashion designer friends, Mecla Soyer and Mimi Shim, recently joined forces to come up with a versatile new dress for Spring. The Agnes Dress features a wrap design, which also lends itself to being worn as a jacket, and/or worn over pants. Very convertible, and available in a handful of colorways. And as always with these two talented ladies, the dress is sustainably made in eco-friendly tencel.
Mecla and Mimi asked if I would bring some Talisman pieces to help accessorize their photoshoot with photog Chiara Garland, featuring model Sangya. I’ve always found all 3 of our brands to be a great fit together, aesthetically and otherwise, and this was no exception. It was a super fun shoot, and both Chiara and Sangya were wonderful to work with (hit them up if you’re in need of a good photographer or model!).
FYI there’s more in the works from our miniature maker posse - including an upcoming joint trunk show where we will be showcasing some new things for Spring/Summer (including this dress!). Save the date for June 6th, with more details coming to your inbox and social media! Be sure to sign up for the Talisman Fine Jewelry email list for the latest on this and other upcoming events. Oh, and PS you can purchase the Mimi Shim Studio x Mecla Agnes Dress on Mecla’s website in the meantime, with more colorways coming online soon. As always you can purchase the full Talisman Fine Jewelry collection here.
